A reliable source of technique or skill whose faculty for judging or deciding rightly, justly, or wisely is accorded authority and status by their peers.
Just like BT’s vehicles, Michel combines attractive design and optimal performance with the highest levels of reliability and availability.
His vast data centre of a brain can hold the dozens of products that roll off our production lines and still find the capacity to spot the incorrect use of a competitor’s product in a draft publication, saving the company a great deal of embarrassment and litigation-induced headaches.
As gatekeeper of the renowned MMD (that’s short for MultiMedia Database or Michel’s Magnificent Domain), Michel presided over the moving and still images of a large number of the world’s rail vehicles. Little wonder then that he was involved in selecting the right cover for the last 10 Annual Reports.
As the digital eyes and ears of BT, Michel controlled the complex matrix of web- and social media sites that make up the company’s online presence.
No trade fair would have been complete without his expertly assembled bespoke sites and advanced tools providing users with everything they could possibly wish to know and much more.
Helpful technological wizardry like Mercury, Booth Module or Smart Transport Solutions boosted Group Communications’ effectiveness beyond belief.
And finally, Michel’s grasp of all photo IDs in our MMDB is worthy of the Guiness Book of Records – you can test it yourself: just name a product and he will come up with the ID (well, at least in some noteworthy cases he really did)
Anyone for coffee?
Most importantly, however, Michel was Group Communications’ Centre of Competence for Changing the Filter of the Coffee Machine (CoC CFCM). We do not want to imagine the nightmarish consequences if the team had been denied this vital expertise on long working days – or any day for that matter.
